· Hasan Al-Basri(may Allah have mercy on him) said, “The first to make an analogy was Shaytaan.” Muhammad ibn Seereen(may Allah have mercy upon him)said, Analogy is what lead to Sun and Moon worship.”
· The first person to speak Arabic was Isma’il ibn Ibraheem
· The first people to worship idols after the flood of Nuh was ‘Aad
· The first person to get circumcised, clip the moustache, and go grey haired was Ibraheem. He was circumcised at 80 years old
· The first person to call to idolatry in the Arabian Peninsula was ‘Amr ibn Luai.
· The first prophet sent to command against idol worship was Nuh
· The first was revelation that came to Prophet Muhammad(peace and blessings be upon him) were dreams which came true.
· The first person to build the Ka’bah was Ibraheem.
· The first person to coat the Ka’bah’s door with gold was Abdul Muttalib ibn Hashim.
· The first person to cover the Ka’bah with silk was AL-Hajjaj ibn Yusuf Al-Thaqafee.
· The first freeman to accept Islam was Abu Bakr(may Allah be pleased with him).
· The first woman to accept Islam was Khadijah bint Khuwaylid(may Allah be pleased with her).
· The first person that Muhammad(peace and blessings be upon him)gave Salaams to was Abu Dharr(may Allah be pleased with him).
· The first companion to migrate to Ethopia was Uthman ibn ‘Affan(may Allah be pleased with him).
· The first masjid built in Madeenah was Masjid Quba. In fact this was the first masjid for the Muslims.
· The first martyr at Uhud was Abdullah ibn Haraam.
· The first person to record revelation in the Prophet’s presence was Ubay ibn Ka’b(may Allah be pleased with him).
· The first person to be called Ameer Al Mu’meneen was ‘Umar ibn Khattab(may Allah be pleased with him).
· The first city conquerored in Sham was Busra.
· The first building built in Kufa was a masjid.
· The first woman to die among the Prophet’s wives after his (peace and blessings be upon him)death was Zaynab(may Allah be pleased with her).
· The first person to write the Hijrah calendar was ‘Umar ibn Khattab(may Allah be pleased with him)
· Hudhayfah said,” The first greatest fitnah was the killing of ‘Uthman and the last is the Dajjal.”
· The first Muslim king and the best was Mu’aweeyah ibn Abee Sufyan.
· The first person to deliver the Friday sermon sitting was Mu’aweeyah ibn Abee Sufyan.
· The first person to have a body guard was Mu’aweeyah ibn Abee Sufyan.
· The first person to deliver the sermon before the prayer at Eid was Marwan ibn Hakam.
· The first person to rule with the Shaf’i school of thought in Sham was Judge Abu Zur’ah Muhammad ibn Uthman.[1]
· The first person to compile a book solely dedicated to mentioning authentic hadeeth was Muhammad ibn Isma’il Al-Bukhari. Then Imam Muslim.[2]
· The first person to write about Arabic grammar was Abu Aswad Ad-Dowalee with the assistance of Ali ibn Abee Talib(may Allah have mercy on them.[3]
· The first person to be called Shaykhul Islam was Ibn Umar by At-Thahabbee in Serah (3/204)[4]
