A Split between the Sunnis and the Shia
A Split between the Sunnis and the Shia
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
There are new waves of propaganda being published to trick and mislead the naïve into the thinking the divide and split between the Sunnis and the Shia isn’t really that deep, but rather it is only a matter of nationalism. When a person has no foundation then he’s bound to collapse by the words spread from the infiltrators. These same people will have one believe everything is OK with innovation and innovators. Allah described the infiltrators and the impostors who try and cover facts. He said: They change the words from their (right) places and have abandoned a good part of the Message that was sent to them. And you will not cease to discover deceit in them, except a few of them. [4:13].
The only true way we can educate a person about falsehood and misguidance is to teach him the basics which will serve as a shield of defense against deviations. In this article we will discuss the Shia’s methodology in the sciences of Islam;such as Tafsir, Hadith, Usul and Fiqh. These are the major components for us to be rightly guided.
The Rafidah (Shia) cult’s methodology is divided into two parts. The first part goes back to the intellect for rulings , similar to the Mu’tazilah . The second part of their practice returns back to the legislation from Ahl Bait (The Prophet’s (ﷺ)household). However, most of what they narrate from their books have weak chains of transmission. The Shia are inexperienced in the sciences of Hadith. They don’t know how to distinguish between a reliable or an unreliable narrator.
When it comes to the field of Tafsir then Ahlus Sunnah has various ways of safeguarding the Quranic sciences. These sciences start from memorizing the Allah’s book . The Shia, on the other hand, don’t place an importance in memorizing the Quran, understanding its meaning and explaining it properly. Moreover, they don’t use the Quran as a basis of evidence for their verdicts. The Shia scholars that authored in Tafsir is their sole reference point without question. These scholars include Sheikh Tusi(460H) and Sheikh Al-Musawi. These two Shia scholars used to take from the Tafsir books of the Mu’tazilah, who are considered Ahl Sunnah among the Shia, which means any group that acknowledges the legitimate rule of Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman (Radi Allahu anhum).
In regards to the Shia’s Tafsir based on intellect then whatever is logically correct is based on a Qiyas from the companions, and everything else that is far-fetched isn’t. If you were to carefully scrutinize the Tafsir books of Ahl Sunnah you’d learn that their Tafsir books are based on the explanations of the companions and their students. This is what’s in the Tafsir books like Al-Baghawi, Ibn Jarir, Al-Qurtubi and Ibn Kathir. All which are among the most authentic books to comprehend the Quran.
Now the issue of Hadith and its sciences isn’t a subject we should disregard ,or take lightly. In fact, the Hadith explains the Quran. The Shia are the furthest people from the Hadith, unaware of its chains of narration ,and its text. The Rafidah cult haven’t a clue about the Prophet’s life, so when they narrate a hadith they only accept it and convey it when it agrees with their desires.
If only the Shia had narrated what’s in their favor or against them from books like Fada’il As-Sahabah by Imam Ahmed and Abu Nuay’m, then they’d realize their corruption. A question arises from this topic about their acts of worship, since they rely on weak and fabricated narrations , how do they pray and fast correctly ?
Then the topic Fiqh leaves us to conclude that the Shia are among those most detached from it. Their principles of Fiqh are founded on the narrations their scholars tell them are from Ahl Bait. These scholars include; Ali ibn Al-Hussain, Abu Jafar Muhammad, and Jafar ibn Muhammad. These are the eminent scholars of the Shia cult. Regrettably, they don’t look at the chains of Isnad to verify the authenticity . To add to this tragedy, whenever there is a statement from one of those Imams, then they don’t analyze it against the Quran or the Sunnah.
The Rafidah don’t return their differing to the Quran and the Sunnah in pursuit of a solution;as Allah and His Messenger ordered. Their Fiqh has 3 principles.
1-The Imams are infallible, thus they merely say what’s correct. Hence, it’s not allowed for anyone to go against their words or views.
2-Each and every one of those Imams learnt from the Prophet(ﷺ)himself. This is deception as we have Murasal hadith that have between the Prophet (ﷺ) and the Taba’I a person or more missing. For that reason it’s authenticity is unverified. Then what about the Shias’ narrations who have reports that exceed way past the lifetime of Ali ibn Al-Hussain? How can we accept and act on this with the belief the Prophet (ﷺ) said or did such a thing?!
3-The consensus of the Rafidah is the true Ijma that is perfect. The Shia’s Ijma consists of 12 Imams. They say that whatever one of them says ,then the other 11 all agree with him. From this kind of principle the Ijma is considered as having the same status as the Quran. Among there weird fallacies is the practice that when there are 2 views, and one of those views is unknown by which Imam said it, so then in that case they reject the known view and take the unknown view believing that the Imams are all error free. Furthermore, the Shia reject Qiyas as well.
The people of the Sunnah from East to West ,past and present truly represent Islam and are at the forefront of protecting it the way it was conveyed 1400 years ago. Whereas, the Shia’s objective is to destroy Islam by spreading corrupt principles and ideologies. The Shia haven’t any scholars who renovate Islam. The Shia’s students aren’t memorizers of the Quran. They aren’t even known for having great scholars of Arabic language , so how could they be the true vanguards of Islam. Conversely, look to Ahl Sunnah and you will see that the divide and split between the Sunnis and the Shias isn’t based on nationalism, but one of truth versus falsehood.[1]
